Design director at Kinneir Dufort
After graduating from the pioneering Industrial Design Technology course at Napier University, Edinburgh, Craig started his career with Kinneir Dufort then, after a five-year spell as senior designer with the Hoover European Appliances group, returned to Kinneir Dufort in 1992. Appointed Design Director in 1997, Craig leads KD's design team. With over 20 years' experience in design, Craig has contributed to the creation of numerous innovative and successful products, including the ground-breaking first-generation UK pocket cellphone for Technophone (1985), a range of hygiene monitors for Biotrace, which collected the 1994 DBA Design Effectiveness Award and the Horners Award for Plastics. More recently, Craig's experience has been utilised in the area of consumer healthcare, providing strategic design and innovation consultancy to a range of global organisations such as Roche Diagnostics.
